Loss of a Role Model

In my short stint as a member of the Halifax Police Department, I had the distinct honour to attend calls for service with Detective (later Inspector) Ron Grantham, a true professional, a caring person, and a friend to many. Ron passed away on May 18, 2020, leaving behind his wife of 61 years and a large and devoted family. I will always remember and be grateful for the teachable moments that he provided a young cadet many years ago.
